Jesus Touched Them: by- Ideals Publications
Jesus Touched Them is a glorious collection of poetry, fiction, essays, Scripture passages, and artwork gathered in the belief that through a better knowledge of the lives that Jesus touched during His brief ministry, we can reach a truer understanding of Christ himself. Jesus touched people from every walk of life, from the poorest and most hopeless lepers to leaders of great wealth and influence. Their names and descriptions are familiar to us from the words of the four Gospels: the twelve disciples who left all that they had to answer Jesus’ call; the sisters Mary and Martha; Jairus and his daughter, and the Pharisee Nicodemus.
Within the pages of Jesus Touched Them, this disparate group of individuals, and countless others blessed by contact with Jesus, comes to life through the words and images of authors and artists inspired by their stories. Authors include Peter Marshall, William Barclay, and Fulton J. Sheen. And just as compelling as the words are the images of Caravaggio, Rembrandt, and George Hinke. In the pages of this volume, we see Jesus the leader, the teacher, the healer, the Savior, and the Son of God. Through the stories of the many lives that were forever altered by the presence of Jesus of Nazareth, we can feel for ourselves “the change that’s wrought by the touch of the Master’s hand.”
