King James Bible: The Book That Changed the World or KJB: The Book That Changed the World is a 2011 Lionsgate direct-to-video production in which John Rhys-Davies leads viewers on a half-documentary, half theatrical exploration of the socio-political, religious, and historical background and roots for both James I of England and for the King James Version of the Bible which was published four hundred years prior to the events portrayed in the self-same documentary film.
the filmmakers do a respectable job of bringing to light the origin story of one of mankind's most treasured translations of God's Holy Word. While the dramatizations are wonderfully dressed in detailed costumes and our host takes us to many actual locations where pivotal moments occurred, the real gem of KJBis John Rhys-Davies and his classy and charming screen presence .
KJB : The Book That Changed The World will probably make a great Sunday School tool and something for history fans to sink their teeth into, but anyone looking for a really engaging experience
